To provide emergency medical services for the benefit of all individuals in Plum Borough, Allegheny County and in neighboring communities and counties, on the highways thereto, and support of state and federal Homeland Security endeavors.

Heart attack, stroke, seizure, vehicle crash, choking, drowning, diabetic emergency, the list goes on and on. All of these things happen in just the blink of an eye. Any one of them can happen to you.
Last year Plum EMS responded to over 2800 calls for service. This year we will likely surpass that number. While we all like to think that it only happens to "the other guy", it doesn't. In the blink of an eye, that "other guy" can become you or a loved one.
